Accelerated CCA course

What does "accelerated CCA courses" mean?

The CCA is a lifetime certificate, unless you have not flown in a commercial airline for more than 5 years. In this case, you will have to pass an examination again. However, if you have worked as a cabin crew member for at least one year, you will be able to enrol for this accelerated 6-day course including the exam in collaboration with our partner Europe Air Crew.
This crash course is also open to experienced cabin crew who have worked for a commercial airline in a non-ICAO country for at least one year and are still active as cabin crew.

Accepted cases

Experienced cabin crew who worked with a commercial airline in a third country ICAO member state for at least 1 year and are still actively operating as cabin crew

Experienced cabin crew in commercial operations however have not operated in commercial operations for less than 60 months with a minimum of 1-year continuous flying as a cabin crew member

Not accepted cases

Experienced cabin crew (private jet)

Experienced cabin crew who have worked for a commercial airline in a third country which is not an ICAO member.

Cabin crew experienced in commercial operations, but who have not operated in commercial operations for more than 60 months.

Procedure to determine on a case-by-case basis if the experienced cabin crew has an adequate level of knowledge to follow the accelerated course:

  • In order to verify the veracity of the career as a cabin crew, the candidate will be asked for any form of proof, such as work contract, roaster, signed certificates, etc…
  • In order to check the candidate’s general knowledge, a theoretical test on the training covered subjects will be taken in the form of a MCQ of 20 questions on https://test.europeaircrew.com. A minimum score of 50% will allow the trainee enrollment.
  • The entire programme is provided in English.
