Cabin Crew English – LILATE Preparation

Prerequisites

Minimum A2 level in English according to the CEFR. An initial assessment and the collection of the professional objective take place before training.

Objectives

Communicate in English in an aviation context, welcome and assist passengers, understand and transmit instructions, and use professional terminology.

Teaching duration

87 hours.

Access arrangements and timescales

Pre-interview and complete application; enrolment finalised no later than 15 working days before the session; entry at the next available session within an average period of 1 to 3 months.

€1,700. Eligible for CPF funding.

Teaching methods

Group training, professional communication, spoken and written activities, understanding instructions and briefings, workplace simulations and supported exercises.

Assessment

The initial assessment identifies the starting level. Spoken and written exercises receive feedback during training. At the end of the course, LILATE uses workplace simulations to assess welcoming a person, gathering information, passing on instructions and consulting documents. RS7314 provides either a live assessment with an assessor or an AI-assisted automated test, selected when the test is booked. Certification body: LINGUEO — LILATE certification, RS7314. Certified levels range from B1 to C2 and LINGUEO authorises certification.
